Former hockey standout Bronson Kovacs has brought his competitive spirit back home to Sault Ste. Marie—this time off the ice. After rising through local hockey ranks, playing NCAA hockey, and spending six years as a professional in Hungary, the 32-year-old has retired from the game and launched a new business, Zoli’s Kleaners.
Inspired by years of dealing with smelly hockey gear and his late grandfather Zoltan Kovacs Sr.’s entrepreneurial legacy, Kovacs now offers chemical-free sanitizing and deodorizing services using ozone technology—once reserved for pro and college teams. Zoli’s Kleaners specializes in cleaning hockey equipment and other hard-to-wash gear, helping families reclaim their homes from lingering odours while safely eliminating bacteria.
